Green power in Denmark.
In Denmark, during these 10 last years, the island of Samso has become totally autonomous in energy thanks to working on natural power. Using a mix of turbine tidal power, wind turbine, private mini wind turbine, solar power, the 4,300 inhabitants of that island have become a huge lab for the green experimentation.
The man responsible Soren Hermansen, professor in environment sciences, and an expert in renewable energy. He succeeded to convince the inhabitants to change their habits because of the impact that those citizens could have on the environment. The public were in favour and they financed with other private fund 11 wind turbine, a biomass central. At the same time, this green movement is attracting scientifics trying to understand what happen on this island.
